Though not as popular as the renowned Nebuta Matsuri, Tachi Nebuta Matsuri has its own uniqueness as the event is held on the ground, than on the sea for better viewing pleasure.

Tachi literally means standing, hence the three dimensional floats are standing manly in the night, lighten up with illuminated colourful lights.

The parade captures many audiences to see these gigantic lots parade the streets of the sleepy town.

Tachi Nebura is held annually between 4 – 8 August in Goshogawara City,  Aomori.
