Traditional tea time snack in #Hong Kong – egg tart + yin yong (mixed coffe and tea). Legend has it the 18 layers fluffy dough of the egg tart in Honolulu Cafe is the best. I decided to give it s try today. Not too sure about the 18 layers, but the warm egg tart served fresh from the oven is indeed heart warming.
Yin Yong plays a role in the whole dining experience too. Fragrance of tea and coffee mixed together is a brilliant idea, whoever invented that, thanks for such creation!
